Naked Gold®: unlabeled gold sol, 15-OD (optical density). Note that 50-OD is available as a conjugate. Inquire for more information on 50-OD gold sols, and see "Dressed Gold" above. Naked Gold sols for ligand conjugation are optimized for rapid-assay development and POC rapid-diagnostic products. Naked Gold is produced by a proprietary process that does not involve the traditional boiling and centrifugation methods. This unique process allows the end-user to directly coat antibody or soluble proteins onto gold without the need to concentrate the gold via centrifugation.
