Naked Gold® is unlabeled gold sol, 15-OD (optical density). Note that 50-OD is available as a custom conjugate.
Naked Gold sols for ligand conjugation are optimized for rapid-assay development and POC rapid-diagnostic products. Naked Gold is produced by a proprietary process that does not involve the traditional boiling and centrifugation methods. This unique process allows the end-user to directly coat antibody or soluble proteins onto gold without the need to concentrate the gold via centrifugation. By eliminating the gold-concentration centrifugation step, the potential for aggregates is greatly minimized. Our gold sols meet high standards for lot-to-lot consistency.
