Naked Gold is unlabeled gold sol, 15 OD (Optical Density). Note that 50 OD is available as a custom conjugate. Inquire for more information on 50 OD gold sols, and see Dressed Gold®. Naked Gold sols for ligand conjugation are optimized for rapid assay development and POC rapid diagnostic products. Naked Gold is produced by a proprietary process that does not involve the traditional boiling and centrifugation methods. This unique process allows the end-user to directly coat antibody or soluble proteins onto gold without the need to concentrate the gold via centrifugation. By eliminating the gold concentration centrifugation step, the potential for aggregates is greatly minimized. Our high quality gold sol is consistently reproducible.
